Abstract :
We utilized metal-assisted chemical etching method on the end face of a silicon-cored fiber to create anti-reflection structure for working in 1550nm, which greatly reduced coupling loss when spliced with a silica optical fiber. The integrity of the structure was examined by experiment and stimulation.
