  • Abstract
The study of performance parameters of the photovoltaic modules can make a diagnosis of the actual operation of the modules on site and to ensure their reliability. It is a tool for comparison between different technologies in order to arrive at the choice of the most suitable for a given installation. The aim of this study is conducted to analyse, determine and compare the measured energy production of photovoltaic (PV) modules. Five different technology of photovoltaic module were installed when they are exposed to the same real sun conditions under meteorological conditions of the southern Algeria, this five PV include modules of thin film technologies: (CIS, HIT, Back Contact, a-si_μc -si) that were analysed in addition (m-si) was study. The outdoor measurements were performed at location with no shadow; the modules were exposed with the maximum power point and the I-V curve being continually measure. he comparative study of this different technology shows that the performance of thin film modules is better than that of mono-crystalline, results showed considerable variation in energy production and in all the parameters we calculated because of the module characteristics.
