Abstract
The new topology of a controller based on IGBT for soft starting and speed regulation of wound rotor asynchronous machine is proposed. The article contains the detail description of the topology. The operation of the controller with feedback was verified on 1.5 kW asynchronous machine. Experimental results of soft starting and speed regulation are shown
