Abstract
The interdisciplinary nature of digital heritage along with the quantities of data it is acquiring has created a need for scalable data management which supports collaboration and data sharing. This paper aims to provide a role-based methodology for data-driven workflows, broken down into their most basic components. Via this methodology, many of the data (and metadata) management issues that are present today can be abstracted away from the actual data analysis and research. To facilitate such research, a scalable infrastructure that provides flexible data curation and management is introduced - Nephelai.
