Abstract :
This paper presents the modeling and control of a high voltage gain DC-DC converter based on the three-state switching cell (3SSC). Initially, the equivalent circuit must be obtained so that a mathematical modeling tool can be applied, which in this case is the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) switch. From the small-signal analysis of the converter, it is possible to obtain the most relevant transfer functions that allow the closed-loop operation of the system. In order to validate the theoretical analysis, an experimental prototype rated at 1000 W using average current mode control is implemented and evaluated, thus showing that the converter remains stable under a wide load range.
