Abstract :
This work proposes the modelling and simulation of a single-phase AC/DC half-bridge T-type converter by using a Sliding Mode Control algorithm, which is little sensitive to disturbances and displays fast dynamic behavior. The control ensures unity power factor, sinusoidal input currents, regulated DC output voltage, and a three level converter grid voltage. This paper also compares the proposed solution with a conventional control algorithm with PWM.
