Abstract :
Resource allocation for sensing-based D2D networks is investigated in this paper. To be specific, we introduce the concept of spatial spectrum sensing where D2D users can sense spatial spectrum opportunities in a cellular network. By modeling the location of base stations and cellular users as Poisson point processes (PPP), the spatial spectrum sensing problem can be formulated using the framework of detection theory. The closed-form expressions are obtained for probabilities of spatial detection, probability of spatial false alarm, and sensing threshold. Accordingly, simulation results are provided to verity our analysis.
