Abstract
In this paper, the authors propose an improved cluster head selection algorithm about MAODV multicast routing protocol in MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Networks). In the improved algorithm, the QoS mechanism is used to reduce the randomness of the cluster head node selection, and the network delay and bandwidth constraints are considered. Through NS2 simulation analysis, the results show that, In the case of no significant increase in routing overhead, end-to-end average delay and packet delivery ratio are improved.
