Abstract
This paper proposed ship´s maneuvering support system for anchoring. When marine pilot dropped the anchor in designated area, an exact anchoring to a designated anchor position was demanded. However, exact anchoring was difficult for third grade pilot because he/she did not have experience of captain. Therefore, there was need for anchoring support system. In order to support exact anchoring, developed system showed 3D model object as a maker for anchoring position on the surface of the sea by using augmented reality. Effectiveness of the developed system was indicated with result of actual ship experiment.
