Abstract :
In the work it was carried out the research on the processes of compensation for three-phase power-supply system with the use of cross-vector theory of instantaneous power in the frequency domain in an analytical form. The obtained results made it possible to propose a method for improvement the compensation of inactive instantaneous power components under harmonic distortions of the mains supply voltage by means of separation its higher harmonics during generation of the compensation currents. The conducted mathematical modeling of the considered system and the analysis of obtained numerical results demonstrated efficiency and expediency of the use of the proposed method for improvement the compensation process in power-supply systems with harmonic distortions of mains supply voltages.
