Abstract
The way to choice an interconnection grid in medium or high voltage, may not be only based in the existence of a voltage level in the site or by the electrical losses level, but also include the reliability of a sub-transmission or transmission grid could give. It is shown the analysis of data since two interconnection available options for a power plant with 34.5 kV y 138 kV grids near the project. The objective is to show that load flow analysis is very useful to decide over the type of grid to build (gauge of conductors and voltage level), but its complement by reliability analysis and economical analysis fix with more criteria about a long term decision about the project and give economical advantages to it.
