  • Abstract
    The power characteristics of photovoltaic systems can have multiple peaks when under partially shading conditions which can cause traditional power tracking methods to operate at the lower power peaks. This paper presents a global maximum power point tracking method under partially shading conditions. The method is based on perturbations of random but limited magnitude. The simulated results using LT Spice software proved that the method have met the design goals.
