Abstract :
During recent years, most of the attention to multilevel inverters has been focused on control algorithm. While, the defects of SVPWM algorithm is caused by classic space vector theory based on traditional coordinate system such as mass of computation and low efficient of controller. In this framework, this paper presents a new simplified space vector modulation scheme, which is based on G-H coordinate system for T-type three level inverter. This new method simplifies the localization procedure of the reference vector as well as the computation of duty cycle. It has the features that a faster running speed on micro-processor and can quickly realizes modulation of pulse width and properly apply to higher level inverter. Finally, verify the correctness and effectiveness of this simplified approach by the results of test and simulation by Matlab/Simulink.
