Abstract
The purpose of this study is to design and develop an interactive dynamic simulation platform for digital image processing teaching. This platform is constructed and implemented by the hierarchical design. The user interfaces of platform are build by the graphical user interface controls of MATLAB and user operations are responded by writing callback functions. The abstract teaching contents and processing procedure are interpreted by image comparison and animation demonstration. On the platform, users can realize the learning and understanding of knowledge through interactions with operation interface. Moreover, utilizing the secondary development function of platform, students can consolidate and expand their study and application. The practice shows that the simulation platform, as a supplementary teaching method, can enhance students´ interest and perceptual cognition and effectively improve the teaching and learning effect in the classroom.
