Abstract
The application of advanced technologies is one of the key differences between smart grid and traditional grid. Its development and application will be through various periods and field of the construction of smart grid. This paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system for smart grid technology. The whole index system has the general characteristics, which can evaluate the technology itself from three aspects including technology performance, economy value, and social & environmental impact. Technical performance is evaluated by dividing hierarchy, while economic value and social & environmental impact are evaluated by the use of traditional hierarchical type index system. Two kinds of evaluation approaches in this paper have been effectively combined. Meanwhile considering some indexes may exist uncertainty when they are collected, probability theory is applied to analysis the uncertainty of the final result. The case result shows that the proposed method can provide reference comments for the continued development of the technology.
