Abstract :
At variance with the development of society economy, electricity transmission capacity is utilized insufficiently. It is of importance to research on the operation capability for transmission line under the condition of overload in a short time. Based on the dynamic heat balance equations, the maximum allowable time of overload operation in different temperatures can be obtained. Take the typical meteorological condition of Guangdong district for example, the maximum permissible temperature, maximum allowable time of overload operation, and increment of current carrying capacity for different types of aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) are analyzed.
