  • Abstract
Now the most used detecting method of MOA is the full current and resistive current on-line test. And the test method of existing instrument needs to get voltage signal from the second terminal of voltage transformer. This method is dangerous because an improper operation will cause a short-circuit in voltage transformer and even endanger personal safety. There fore, in order to solve the above problems, a new MOA arrester tester is developed in this paper. It uses a new way to obtain voltage phase signal and it gets voltage signal from the high voltage side of primary equipment and then sends it to the tester developed in this paper through wireless transmission to convert it to low voltage signal and then outputs to the original arrester tester to complete the resistance current testing. The device developed can finish arrester electrified test safely, accurately and conveniently. It can overcome the limitation of getting voltage signal from the second terminal of voltage transformer and the effect of interphase interference on test results can be effectively solved.
