  • Abstract
Silicone rubber composite insulator with its excel lent performance is being in a wide range of applications in our country instead of the traditional insulator. Most of the statistical results show that the composite insulator aging is the main reason of the failure. Composite insulator becomes one of the weakest link, constitutes a great threat to the safe operation of high voltage transmission line. So to carry out the research on the aging of composite insulators, build a complete aging evaluation model, timely grasp the insulator aging status is of important significance to the safe and stable operation of power system. In this paper, the variable weight theory is combined with the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, and a multi-level and multi-index aging assessment model of composite insulators is constructed. The main work of the aging assessment includes: the determination of the weight of the index, the construction of the aging assessment model, and the verification of the model. First of all, we construct two layers of evaluation index system-the project layer and the index layer. Second obtain the constant weights, and introduce the variable weight model based on equilibrium function to obtain the variable weight. Then we chose the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to build the insulator aging state comprehensive evaluation model. In the end, the aging model is verified by the experimental data of the composite insulators of the transmission line. The results show that the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on the variable weight theory can objectively reflect the aging state of insulators objectively. The model has a reference for the maintenance and replacement of insulators.
