Abstract :
To elaborate the problems emerging from high frequency stress on insulating system clearly and to provide assistance in detection and measurement of high-frequency transformer, a column-plate model is adopted as the test model under high voltage both of high frequency voltage and power frequency voltage. Electrical signal was captured with Rogowski coil linked to the test model in the ground strap to measure the induced voltage and the contents of key gases were measured using Zhongfen 2000A gas-phase chromatographic instrument. In this paper, the partial discharge inception voltage, phase-amplitude diagram, the content and the proportion of key gases generated under the constant high frequency voltage are analyzed. Conclusions can be drawn from the tests that high frequency stress boosts the de grading process of oil-paper insulation system, and increases the content of key gases produced by oil-pressboard insulation sys tem, indicating that insulating oil deteriorates severer than pressboard, but both were much worse than those under the power frequency voltage. Furthermore, the partial discharge signals were increased in frequency and reduced in amplitude, verifying the characteristics of gas-production.
