  • Abstract
For receiving-end system that has larger percent of power from outside, if UHVDC bipolar blocking occur, there must have some impact on grid security and stability. Take Jinsu UHVDC as background, based on the typical summer peak data of Jiangsu power grid, electromagnetic transient model of Jinsu UHVDC project was established in ADPSS containing detailed DC control system; In addition, the remaining part of Jiangsu power grid and electromechanical transient model of the sending equivalence grid were established, the influence of Jinsu UHVDC bipolar blocking on angle of power plant surrounding power, surrounding reactive power, voltage and grid frequency. Results shows that: After the bipolar blocking, power angle of plant near the placement unit stability can be maintained, reactive power of the plant is reduced after shortly increase first, 500kV voltage nearby fluctuate maximum of 30kV, frequency of Jiangsu grid drop slightly, can maintain stable operation.
