Abstract :
Microgrid is an effective way to improve the utilization of distributed renewable energy. In order to improve the operational efficiency of the microgrid, this paper proposes an optimal control strategy for the microgrid composed of small hydropower and photovoltaic generation with energy storage based on multiple scenarios technique. The probabilistic models of distribution generation are discussed, and the optimal cutting technology is used to reduce the sample number of microgrid operation which can simplify the operation optimal problem of microgrid. Based on the operational characteristics of the photovoltaic generation and small hydropower, a mathematic model for the optimal operation of microgrid is presented and the objective function is the income of the power from distributed generation. Improved particle swarm algorithm is used for the calculation of the optimal problem. The simulation results show that the optimal model of microgrid is suitable for the operation of microgrid in different conditions and can obtain maximum benefit from the distributed generations.
