  • Abstract
    Test of system operation, control and protection is becoming an important part of the micro-grid technology. This paper presents a testbed for operation, control and protection of micro-grid based on IEC 61850 with RT-LAB. A hierarchical system architecture for testbed including a system level, a bay equipment level, and a power device level is presented, and the design for testbed is proposed in detail. Then, experiments are performed based on the proposed testbed to verify its validity.
