Abstract :
A novel DC high voltage power supply is presented. The device takes 220V AC as input, through the AC input-rectifier-inverter boost-doubler rectifier to get DC high voltage. The device obtains about 300V DC voltage through the full-bridge rectifier. The pulse-width modulation DC/DC links makes DC voltage adjustable. Then the DC voltage is converted into high-frequency AC square wave voltage which will be boosted by the high frequency high voltage transformer. Finally, the doubler rectifier circuit outputs the required 0~30kV adjustable DC voltage. AT89S51 is adopted as the control core. LCD screen displays the current voltage. The AT89S51 microcontroller PWM wave is generated through software programming as the control signal of the chopper. Two complementary PWM wave were generated to control the inverter circuit. The AT89S51 compare the feedback voltage and reference voltage required, modulation PWM wave that is to change the duty cycle to achieve high-performance adjustable DC. Simulation and experimental results verify the correctness of theoretical analysis and design.
