Abstract :
We demonstrate the first widely-tunable, 2.5 Gb/s transmitter based on an SG-DBR laser monolithically integrated with an SOA and EA modulator. Time-averaged powers in excess of 3 dBm across a 38 nm tuning range have been achieved
