Abstract
Computational modeling and performance analysis of the system prior to the development stage is desired, to know the response of the system. Accordingly, it is helpful to do needed improvement for better development and along with cost effectiveness. In this paper, modeling of the imaging system has been proposed in which considering object plane side, optical modeling, CCD/CMOS sensor unit, processing unit and thereafter image plane. In optical modeling double gauss lens configuration has been used in an imaging system, basic Color pre-processing of the Bayer CFA output and performance analysis of the configuration has been discussed. This modeling and performance analysis of the imaging system helpful to design and develop along with considering the important factors needed for design, development and analysis of the system.
