Abstract
We report the preliminary results of the development of an optoelectronic terahertz sensing and imaging system for mid- to long-range applications. This system relies on nonlinear optical crystals for THz emitter and receiver designs, as well as transceiver, and is capable of mid-range (10 to 100 meters) to long-range (100 meters to kilometers) time-domain far-infrared spectroscopy across a frequency range extending from 0.1 THz to 3 THz
