Abstract
Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is one of the best modality to measure brain activity. Cognitive task produces effective and purposeful behavior in the brain which can be measured by different modalities like Electroencephalography (EEG), Magnetoencephalography (MEG) and fMRI. In this study, fMRI is used to find the difference between brain states. Data was recorded with two different tasks, i.e. a visual task with and without the response. Activity patterns from different brain regions were measured. The main activations were in three brain regions i.e. visual cortex, temporal and frontal depending on the task. In conclusion, fMRI is a good modality to measure brain states and do prediction on novel data.
