  • Abstract
    During the recent years, the act of using image watermarking attracted a lot of attentions. Proposing a watermarking algorithm which can resist against different attacks is somehow difficult. So with increasing the robustness of the watermarking algorithm against some famous attacks and also with keeping up other evaluation factors in the watermarking, try to robust those watermarks against some attacks. One solution for having an appropriate evaluation factors in the image watermarking is using the genetic algorithm for finding the best coefficients. In this paper firstly, by using the factors which are used to find the best embedding blocks such as region of interest, priority factor, complexity factor, made the watermarked image resists against the cropping attack and perceptual distortions. Secondly, by using the genetic algorithm the best coefficients are selected for embedding the watermarks. The results of preprocessing operations show the importance of using these factors for improving the quality of watermarking against the attacks.
