Abstract :
With our country´s economic development, people continuously raise the living standard, electricity as a kind of clean and renewable energy has becomes indispensable in people´sdaily life and work. But facing the huge power supply, power grid construction in China hasbeen difficult to meet the needs of the people and the wastage of the network also isincreasingly prominent. Reactive power compensation device can effectively reduce networklosses, at the same time it can also provide the strong guarantee to the safe operation ofpower grid. In order to meet the need of the present low voltage power grid, the reactivepower compensation system is necessary. This paper analyzes the distribution networkreactive power compensation, the related modules, principle and its application pattern oflow voltage power grid reactive power compensation.
