Abstract
This paper is devoted to study the propagation of electromagnetic waves of ground radar (GPR) in geological environments (heterogeneous). GPR is a method based on the analyze of spread the diffraction and reflection electromagnetic waves in high frequency (0.1 MHz to 2.6 GHz). A number of models have been designed to simulate the varieties of geological conditions. FDTD one of these models, which based on the scientific computing software called Reflexw simulation code. During the signal radar spread from the geological environment. We note that the signal decreases due to the absorption phenomenon and reflection. Our results show that the effective permittivities have a great impact on the wave behavior in different geological environments.
