Abstract :
This paper present the Direct Torque Control of three-leg inverter fed symmetrical two-phase induction motor. The two-phase induction motor is modeled and the required equations for controlling electromagnetic torque and stator flux are presented. The look-up table for controlling the switching states of the three-leg inverter is obtained. The simulation is carried out at no-load condition and dynamic condition for the verification of results for direct torque control of symmetrical two-phase induction motor.
