Sustainable trade-offs in hydropower development
Abstract :
The author examines what makes a generation portfolio sustainable. He describes how BC Hydro has been wrestling with this question, and has come up with some ideas. They can be used to guide decisions as to what generation resources are "allowable" in a sustainable portfolio, or to stimulate discussion as to what sustainability means in practice.
