Abstract :
We proposed novel hybrid gel microtool made of a polystyrene microbead coated with thermo-sensitive gel, Poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm). In this study, we confirmed that cell adhesion properties of the microtool could be changed using laser heating during trapping by optical tweezers. Furthermore, we demonstrated single cell transportation by adhering the cell to the microtool with optical tweezers.
