Abstract
A new inductor fabrication technique utilizing 3D printing with graphene-based filament is explored. Morphology of graphene filament before and after 3D printing was analyzed using optical and atomic force microscopy. Three toroidal air-core inductors were designed and evaluated: two with traditional cross-sections (circular and rectangular) and one with a mixed design with the cross-section for high frequency quality factor. A single body inductor with a circular cross-section was fabricated and electrically evaluated.
