  • Abstract
Memristor-based min-max circuits have been proposed as a promising application of memristors. This work focuses on 3-input memristor-based min-max circuits. A thorough analysis of the structure is presented. It is shown that the proposed structure does implement min/max operations for arbitrary input voltages. Also, design constraints and limitations are derived. Finally, the effect of the memristor threshold is analytically modeled and closed form expressions for the allowable values of the input voltages as a function of the memristor threshold current, are derived. Eldo (Mentor Graphics) simulations are successfully conducted using the TEAM model to validate the results.
