Abstract :
In this paper, the method of calculating stator end-leakage reactance of large turbogenerator by quasi-3D sinusoidal magnetic field FEM is presented, and the formula of stator end-leakage reactance is derived. Taking the 600 MW turbogenerator as an example, the influence of some factors such as the eddy current in end parts and the length of stator and rotor iron core are discussed
