Abstract :
An improved Tabu algorithm is proposed. The improvements include the partition of the entire search process into a diversification and an intensification phases, the memorization of the previously searched subspaces, and the partition approach for the continuous variable etc.. To validate the proposed method, both the benchmark problem 22 of the TEAM Workshop and an inverse problem of power transformers are solved, and algorithm performances are compared with other methods.
