  • Abstract
In order to study the reliability of oil derrick changing with load, section size and other factors, this paper analyzes the random reliability of oil derrick by using ANSYS finite element probability design system. Using the Monte Carlo method, the elastic modulus, section size and other random variables are simplified as Gaussian distribution function, the load distribution is simplified as logarithmic normal distribution function, and then analyzing the reliability of oil derrick by using ANSYS finite element software. Taking a certain type of oil derrick as example, establishing the oil derrick model by using ANSYS software, analyzing the statistical characteristics of random variables, compiling probability analysis file, inputting relevant parameter of variables, and then the reliability of oil derrick are calculated by using Monte Carlo sampling simulation. The results show that the influence degree of different random variables for bar stress of the oil derrick dangerous parts and the changing rule of stress, the maximum of dynamic load factor and damage (or corrosion) when the structure is safe and reliable, and providing foundation for random reliability analysis of oil derrick.
