Abstract
This paper presents a practical method to analyze the no-load performance of 3-phase transformer bank under direct current (DC) bias. The results of system simulation of the same problem are used to determine the magnetic parameters of iron core and the exciting sources of the 3D transient analysis. The 3D transient magnetic field, eddy current and losses under different DC bias are computed and compared
