Abstract :
TDKC´s Cloud-compressed IR with Robust, Universal Services (CIRRUS) project is developing practical methods to automatically distribute image compression and processing applications over cloud resources to increase image dissemination speed. Project results, including the innovative use of an in-memory map reduction technique and image compression and processing methods, are presented and discussed.
