Abstract :
A technical diagnostic type expert system is essentially a computer software system combining artificial intelligence technique with equipment fault diagnosis technique. It uses special knowledge and a method provided by experts which simulates the inference process of experts to solve some complicated and important problems. In this paper, we introduce the expert system for fault diagnosis of a DC motor and also describe the method for enhancing diagnosis hit-rate
