  • Abstract
    In a direct torque control system, the stator resistance of induction motors varies with winding temperature. The variation severely influences system performance at low speed. The paper presents a stator resistance on-line estimator based on the fuzzy-neural network. The experimental result and simulation shows that the estimator can accurately measure stator resistance and efficiently improve system performance at low speed
