  • Abstract
Over the last 20 years, LCC HVDC has become the dominating technology for long-distance transmission of bulk power [1]. With two bipoles power can transfer through same HVDC line or by separate line. Both bipoles can run with lots of different configuration as per availability of converter and line and requirement of power. Both configurations have their own advantages and disadvantages over each other. In this paper different possible configuration and a comparison between both cases is described and an effort is made to emphasize the importance of both.
