  • Abstract
    Using variable frequency drives (VFD) to control electric driven fans and pumps is an effective way for saving energy. But this technology is not widely used in this field, the most common reason is lack of knowledge of such drives. The software package presented in this paper is aimed to provide users corresponding knowledge and guide them to design optimized fan and pump applications using VFD. At this same time, a simulation tool is offered to test their performance
