Abstract
Induction motors are one of the most popular devices in the present day engineering. From households to industries, induction motors are present almost everywhere around the world. Much work has been done in making the induction motor more efficient and redundant since its discovery to make them as good as they are presently. However, there is always a scope of making new changes. This paper is based on the concept of `Multi-Phase Induction Motor Drives´, a concept which involves a deviation from the traditional single-phase and three-phase induction motors which we are familiar with.
