Abstract
To obtain over 100 Gbit/inch/sup 2/ density for the MO disk, both technologies of three dimensional multi-layer recording and magnetic amplifying magneto-optical system (MAMMOS) combined with a violet laser and high numerical aperture (NA) lens will be presented.
