Abstract :
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a means of communication network where routing protocol not only design intentionally for energy efficient but also for self stating activities. WSN consists of different kinds of nodes useful for data collection such as member node, representative node, co-coordinator node, aggregator node, relay node and sink node. Performance of WSN depends on the type of topology used which ultimately accounts for increase or decrease in network lifetime. Data congestion and overloading are the important parameters that affect the overall performance of network. This in turns creates a space for designing such a protocol and algorithm that can shrink the flooding as well as energy efficient. In this paper we proposed the methodology that discovers the nearest neighbor and route to reduce the flooding and energy consumption in WSN.
