Abstract :
For multi-Gbps indoor applications 38 GHz millimeter wave (mm Wave) technology offers the high potential. In this paper, where devices are battery-constrained we apply the millimeter wave technology for delivery of multimedia content in indoor network. Initially this paper schedules the concurrent transmission by the help of vertex coloring algorithm. Then, for each timeslot, consider the power allocation problem to optimize the aggregate network utility. Then Numerical results improve the aggregate network utility. From our knowledge, it shows that our proposed scheme can decrease number of timeslots. It is very essential to manage resource such as power efficiently. To overcome with the problem and to compensate propagation loss directional, antenna or beam forming is used. Multimedia content delivery consumes more energy is the reason behind this is delay sensitive and requires a high data rate. Transmission energy focuses toward a specific direction where idle spaces are created as in directional communication. These idle spaces can be utilized to transmit and receive data for the neighboring devices. In one time slot multiple links can be transmitted simultaneously. In this paper, to formulate the power allocation problem to optimize the aggregate utility in each time slot. The numerical results showed that our scheme outperforms compared with the existing TDMA and STDMA based scheduling techniques.
