Abstract
This study proposes a new circuit consisting of a high voltage gain DC-DC Boost converter and a single phase two stage inverter for PV cell system. The DC-DC boost converter topology achieves high voltage gain by coupling inductors and the voltage lift technique. The inverter consists with a combination of sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) and a square wave along with grid synchronization condition. The simulation work of this circuit has been done using PSIM. The new conversion technique revealed the low ripple, low THD below 0.1%, low cost and simple control.
