Abstract
This research aims to identify how the Chinese and Macanese students would perform if they were treated in the student-centered approach, moreover, the researchers specify the assessment method which requires them to perform an in-depth understanding of the course material. As a result, the researchers were amazed by the students, and this interventional group of student proves the stereotype of Chinese and Macanese students as a passive, surface learner is wrong.
