A Qualitative Assessment of Student-Centered Approach: High-Level Question Assessment Method among Chinese and Macanese Students in Macao

This research aims to identify how the Chinese and Macanese students would perform if they were treated in the student-centered approach, moreover, the researchers specify the assessment method which requires them to perform an in-depth understanding of the course material. As a result, the researchers were amazed by the students, and this interventional group of student proves the stereotype of Chinese and Macanese students as a passive, surface learner is wrong.
